Women being an integral part of the agricultural workforce constitute a huge number. At the same time gender inequality is a major development issue across all the developing countries in general and India in particular. To effectively counter gender discrimination in agriculture,” Bhairabi Women Agro Producer Company Limited ” was established in Aug.2016 with 1000 women farmer share holders who are mostly small and marginal farmers and belong to back ward classes .

The company was incorporated under section 465(1) of companies act 2013 with the support of SFAC , New Delhi . Having it’s head office at Kankorada and corporate office at RMC Campus Dengadi the FPC is engaged in building women farmers capacity through agricultural best practices for enhanced productivity .Key activities of the company are backward integration of agriculture inputs to share holders , promotion of organic farming , support for farm-mechanization through establishment of custom hiring center , Commodity trading ( Aggregation , primary processing , storage and trading ) , Support for credit linkages and crop insurance to share holders and Support for linkages with Govt. schemes and tie-up with private companies.

To enable 25 thousand women farmers to replace conventional farming system into high value commercial organic enterprise with end to end facility for production , processing and marketing by 2025 .
