Organic Farming

Since its’ inception , the company continues to promote organic farming with the primordial mission to improve the socio-economic status of small holder women farmers .The FPC has established organic agri-input production unit where organic fertiliser , pest-controller and growth promoter etc. is being manufactured and supplied to farmers on time at a very nominal price . Farmers are also being trained to prepare organic fertilizers .

Quality Seed Production

We collect , breed and exchange native seeds , to have access to diverse open source seeds which have nutritional values can be saved – and which are not patented, genetically modified, owned or controlled by emerging seed companies . Seed bank saves Indigenous seeds for the future generations , enhance nutritional diversity, protect seed sovereignty and enhance sustainability of the small holder women farmers.

Direct Marketing

To decrease post harvest losses and to save small holder farmer members from distress sell we have initiated a door step delivery system of fresh farm produce after being processed hygienically. This allows consumers to get farmers’ products at cheaper rates, while farmers also get better prices as middlemen would be eliminated.

For holistic health of consumers and to ensure higher returns to farmers , the FPC has taken an initiative for production , processing and marketing of ready to eat and ready to cook super foods using Positive millets ( Siridhanya ) , Black rice , Red rice , Brown rice , Aromatic rice , Rice with zinc & iron and black colour green grams .
